Tarangire day safari
Elephants, baobabs and five hundred bird species in one long day from Moshi.
A real safari in a real park, in a day. Tarangire is the nearest of the big northern parks, and in the dry season its river pulls in more elephants than anywhere else in the north. An early start, six hours in the park with a picnic, and back after dark. Long, and worth it.
