Ndarakwai: a walking safari in West Kilimanjaro
A private reserve between Kilimanjaro and Amboseli, walked and driven with the mountain behind you.
Ndarakwai is a private conservancy on the Maasai rangeland north of the mountain, on the elephant route between Kilimanjaro and Amboseli. Being private, it allows what the national parks do not: walking, with a guide, among giraffe, zebra, eland and elephant, and a game drive with nobody else on the track.
