The only park within an hour of the airport, and one of the few in Tanzania where you can get out of the car. A ranger walks you through the forest and across open glades where giraffe and buffalo stand and watch, up towards the Meru crater. Then the vehicle takes you round the Momella lakes for the flamingos and hippo, with the mountain over everything.
