Ang'ata Ngorongoro is a small tented camp up on the crater rim inside the conservation area: en suite tents, hot water bottles at night, buffalo grazing past the mess tent in the morning. Simple on purpose, and cold at night, which is what a rim camp is.
It is the rim night of the Crater World and Empakaai safari, where the second day is a walk down into Empakaai crater.
