Tloma Lodge is on a coffee farm outside Karatu, cottages in gardens with a pool and the green wall of the crater highlands behind. Coffee from the farm at breakfast, a fire in the evening, the crater gate twenty minutes up the road.
It is the Karatu night on several of our northern circuit safaris, the last stop before the Serengeti or the last night before Arusha.
