Why we book it
Tarangire Elephant Springs is a lodge just outside the park with cottages around a pool and a natural spring on the property that draws elephant and other game through the dry months. The park gate is minutes away, which means a full day in the park rather than an hour of driving to reach it.
We use it on the luxury Tarangire and balloon safari and the calving-season trips, where the first park night should already feel like the bush.
Our mainland safaris quote this lodge or similar: a property of the same standard if it is full or has moved with the season. The exact lodge is named in your proposal, before any payment.
