Why we book it
Sea Cliff sits on the low cliffs at Mangapwani, north of Stone Town on the west coast, where the coast is coves rather than one long beach. The resort has a nine hole golf course, a spa, pools above the sea and rooms in low blocks through the gardens.
It is the base for our Zanzibar Experience Getaway: close enough to Stone Town that the town tour, the spice farm and Prison Island are short mornings, and quiet enough that the rest of the day is yours. Half board, so lunch is wherever the day takes you.
