Ruaha River Lodge is on the Great Ruaha river inside the park, stone-and-thatch bandas along the bank and up the kopje behind, with the river and its hippo, elephant and buffalo in front of the veranda. It is the old lodge of the park, and the game drives start at the door.
It carries the Ruaha nights of our Northern Icons to Ruaha safari, the fly-in finale after Tarangire, the crater and the Serengeti.
