Africa Safari Lake Manyara is a lodge and tented camp at the edge of Lake Manyara near Mto wa Mbu, with a pool, a big open dining deck and rooms in the trees. The Rift escarpment is behind it and the lake in front.
It is our base for the three nights of the Zanzibar and Lake Manyara safari: Tarangire one day, the crater the next and the lake's tree-climbing lions on the last morning, all within two hours of the bed.
